Personal tailored support and a relationship that is REAL. I love to hear from you.

Yes, I care deeply about yoga, but I also care about YOU. I live in the East of England and until lockdown, all my classes were in person.  Since moving online, I have doubled the number of classes on offer, and this has been a direct result of my students’ passion, interest, and commitment. As well as unprecedented, it has also been a transformative and remarkable time.

Together with my beautiful evolving yoga community we have designed a weekly PROGRAMME to build strength, cardio-vascular efficiency in total body yoga workouts, flexibility practices as well as building in time to rest, restore, gentle practices including deliciously sumptuous Yin classes and now our Sunday wind down class. This perceptive, intelligent, creative and amazing community knows the secret, that we really can do it all with yoga. Every surface is our mat, every space a studio. No expensive gym equipment is necessary here.

I LOVE to hear from you and my student membership community is consulted regularly as to where this lifelong journey inwards should take us to next. Recently, we practised sequences to make our side twisting crow ‘fly’ – We ‘fly’ together.

We talk a lot about intention in yoga and my intention is to serve my students with everything I have and everything I know about yoga in my 20+ years of experience.

I will not just be a video virtual person. My focus is on personal mutual support and a relationship that is REAL between me as your yoga teacher and you as my student. TOGETHER. You will find me responsive to you personally, but also in the classes which are tailored to my students. Without me even saying it you will have those ‘Ah, that was for me’ moments during the lessons, you will know I’m reaching out and you will know I care about you and how you feel. With me as your teacher, you are in safe hands. We will counter ‘pushing’ practices, balancing, and bridging active, dynamic yang style classes with the stillness of meditation style practices.

Yoga with Andrea switched to online classes as a result of lockdown, Upon re-opening in person, online classes will continue and in-person classes will recommence (2 or 3 per week depending on student preference).

AndreaYoga is also available for private group bookings, 1:1 and 1:2 – just contact hello@andreayoga.co.uk to arrange a suitable time.

If you cannot commit to live in-person or online classes this is no problem, livestream library members can enjoy edited live-streams from the video library at any time that suits to get your yoga fix! These will be uploaded to the website up to 31 days after filming to enable quality testing as they go through the editing suite.

All classes are between 1 hour and 1 hour 10 minutes and include yogic postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), meditation and relaxation.

Yoga means addition and union. Addition and union of energy,
strength and beauty to the body, mind and soul.

~ Amrit Ray

We come to our yoga mats so often for the stretch but find we leave with so much more.

Like many, I came to yoga for flexibility, stress relief, health and physical fitness – these elements are fundamental but over time these primary reasons have evolved. In our yoga practice together we will find opportunities to self-reflect, practice kindness, compassion (including to oneself) and continued growth, development and self-awareness.

“Yoga is a light, which once lit will never dim.”
~ B.K.S Iyengar

The study of asana (postures) is not about mastering postures.
It is about using posture to understand and transform yourself.

A person can rise up through the efforts of their own mind,
or in the same manner draw oneself down, for each person is their own friend or enemy.

~ Bhagavad Gita

With me as your teacher, learn to strive without grasping, from a foundation of peace.

Your diet is not only what you eat. It is what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, the people you are around…
be mindful of the things you put into your body emotionally, spiritually and physically.
